Tour Itinerary & prices

We make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy your perfect day out. See below for details on how to book, pricing and what’s included in your private longtail trip from Ko Lanta

How do I book?

The best way to book is to email us via our website – we aim to respond within 24 hours, if possible, please let us know what tour or destination you are interested in, and the amount of people in your group.. Our replies sometimes end up in your promotions or spam folders – if you haven’t heard from us within 24 hours, please check. We are happy to talk to you as well. You can call us direct on +66 622 743-750, or if you’d rather call us for free, use WhatsApp. Please remember we are +6hours GMT, and might not be available immediately depending on your timezone!

Once your booking is confirmed, we take care of everything for you. We’ll pick your group or family from your hotel in the morning before driving you to the boat and sailing to your destination. We usually aim to meet at 8:30am, and leave the beach by 9:00. It takes approximately 60 minutes to go to the 4 Islands area, 90 minutes to Ko Kradan and around 1 hour 45 minutes to Ko Rok. Depending on the time of year, we usually depart from Kantiang in the South of Ko Lanta. If you are on the Eastern Islands trip, we always leave from Old Town and it takes 30 minutes to your first stop at Ko Bubu.

Not sure where Old Town or Kantiang is? Where to find Ko Rok, Ko Ngai or Talabang? Take a look at our map which shows you our departure points and key islands on our trips.

We always drive you to and from your hotel at no extra charge – you don’t have to come to us, we come to you. We’ll provide you with free transport to and from your hotel, regardless of where you are staying on Ko Lanta.

We start the return journey around 3pm and get you back on dry land around 4:30pm before driving you back to your hotel.

What is the cost for a private longtail tour?

Prices vary depending on your preferred destination and the amount of people in your group. If you’d like to make a booking, please let us know the amount of people (adults and children under 16) and where you’d like to go so we can give you an accurate quote.

Ko Rok, Ko Kradan and the 4 Islands are part of the Krabi National Parks and all adult visitors must pay ฿400 each to visit. This is collected by the Marine Park rangers on arrival in these areas – you’ll see the rangers driving around on a small boat when you visit. And yes, you will have to pay them – everybody does. Because of this, we try and keep things simple and include the cost of the Marine Park entrance in our quote for your trip, so you don’t have to worry about it and can relax and enjoy the blue water and sunshine. Any price we quote you is inclusive – there’s no other fees for the day.

How do I pay?

Like many small businesses in Thailand unfortunately we can’t process credit cards. Just pay the boat captain in cash before your departure on the day of your trip.

Is food and drink included?

A Thai lunch, water and fresh fruit is provided as part of your private tour – you are of course welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks as well – there is a large icebox on board to keep drinks cool. As you have a private boat for the day we try and find a quiet beach away from the crowds to eat lunch on.

Please let us know if you have any food allergies or special requests in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate. All our food is cooked fresh in the morning before departure.

I’m a bit nervous in the water…

If you have any doubts about your swimming ability, please wear one of the life jackets available – you’ll be more comfortable in the water and it will help protect you from the strong sun.

If you have any more questions or would like to inquire about a booking a trip please let us know your preferred date and the tour you’d like to go on on our contact form here including your hotel details so we can arrange a car from your hotel in the morning. Also we have a dedicated FAQ area with some additional information.
